| | Summary: |
| | The study is going to describe the methods applicable to define the urban
types in historic Hungary (1867-1918) and make possible the categorization of their
urban tissues. The methods have been developed by the author since there were no
suitable modes for morphological research of towns from the era. The urban tissue types
can be determined by the integrated urban morphology method; the urban morphology
matrix is closely related to the integrated method and it defines a higher degree of
typology, the urban typology. |
