 Summary:
 Experts of the geodetic profession are used as proof when court does not have specific professional knowledge, necessary for revealing certain facts of trial related with geodesy as a profession. In this paper the authors have presented the analysis of the significant aspects related to court expertise and second opinion court expertise in geodesy, as well as the issues related to them. Based on the analysis the most common issues that cause the trial were identified and the suggestions and guidelines were given for overcoming them.
