	Summary:
	Building of military headquoters (so-called Generalštab) in the centre of Belgrade has been build in the period 1954-1963. Its design author is famous architect Nikola Dobrović. Stone types used have commercial names "Veselje unito" and "Koral", both fossiliferous limestones of Mesozoic age. This building is gravely damaged in NATO bombing in 1999. This paper presents the results of the analysis and evaluation of the state of the stone in the façade of this building.
