 Summary:
Fire resistance analysis of centrically loaded compositecolumns exposed todifferent fire models fromall sides is presented in this paper. Two different types of composite columns, as: partially encased steel sections and hollow steel sections filled with concrete were analyzed and the fire resistance was definedby using the software SAFIR (University of Liege, Belgium). For the all two types of composite columns the cross section dimensions were varied and the influence on the fire resistance of the columns was defined. Design values for the geometrical data, material properties and actions are taken in accordance with the recommendations given in actual Eurocodes.
